Join us for a morning learning how to make willow ‘tension trays’ or platters. This class is a great introduction to willow basketry, allowing one to get a feel for the material in a half day class. We will get the chance to play around with the natural colours of the willow and learn some basic traditional techniques, in the Catalonia style. These trays are very attractive and functional, a beautiful sight with bread on the kitchen table!
