All baskets are woven with heritage varieties of willow grown organically in my own sally garden; harvested by hand with a traditional hook in the dormancy of winter; and then sorted, bundled, cured, and prepared with loving hands to make the baskets you see here.
All of the various colours of the willow are completely natural and are a reflection of the different types of willow. Most of my baskets I weave have at least different 4 varieties of willow in them.
Each of these baskets are woven to last a lifetime; and, if taken care of well, may be enjoyed for generations.
