In this full-on one beginner day course, we will learn some of the basic of weaving frame baskets and make this beautiful small and sweet egg basket. We go over: hoop making, weaving a willow St. Brighid’s Cross, ribs, shaping, and techniques for weaving. I pre-make the hoops/frames and the willow skeins we use for this course so that we can finish in one day. This is a great course for beginners wanting to dive into the ancient art of weaving or the basics of weaving frame baskets for a day.
