A bright, beautiful and branchy willow that has a very distinct bright orange colour when growing and when dried. Fantastic to use as a colourful hedgerow or windbreak. Incredibly flexibly and forgiving, soft willow that brightens up baskets and provides great contrast for other colours. This variety is not a high producing willow, but a little goes a long way and the side branches may be used for fine weavers. Despite the branchiness, this willow does split well for making willow skeins. In the last photo you can see the cured willow colour in a basket.
