Willow makes an amazing colourful hedgerow for our winter tired eyes, it is also amazing habitat for birds and is some of the first nectar for bees in the early spring. In this Hedgerow bundle you have 4 different colours that contrast and complement eachother beautifully--orange, purple, white and green. If you are not using the branches of this willow for basketry, you can coppice or cut back this willow every 2-3 years in the winter. Cutting back the willow in the winter allows new bright coloured shoots to come up, discourages disease and freshens up the hedgerow.
